Santiago de Compostela
If you visit Santiago de Compostela you can not miss its impressive cathedral, stroll through the old area or visit the Mercado de Abastos. Take the trip to stroll through its many green areas and gardens and taste the typical dishes of Galicia in one of the countless tapas bars that hosts the capital.
Castros de Baroña y Sierra de Barbanza
The circular route of the Sierra de Barbanza runs between the Rías de Muros-Noia and the Ría de Arousa. As obligatory stops within the tour you can not miss the old area of Noia, the villages of Portoson and Portosín, the old Celtic village of the Castros of Baroña, the Dune Complex of Corrubedo and the climb to Mount Carnota, from where you can see the Cíes Islands.
Rías Baixas
The Rías Baixas is the most touristic area of Galicia after Santiago de Compostela. It has several attractive points: the Viking Towers of Carnota, Villagarcía de Arousa, Cambados, O Grove, La Isla de La Toja, Playa de la Lanzada, Combarro, Poio and its monastery and the ancient area of Pontevedra.
Islas Cíes
During the spring and summer months, the Islas Cíes are an essential sight. Access by boat from the port of Vigo.
You can sunbath and bath in its turquoise waters at la Playa de Rodas, considered one of the best beaches in the world, or hike in different trails to discover the flora and fauna of this Natural Park.
Monte de Santa Tecla, Tui y Valença do Minho
This route, which begins in Vigo with a visit to the Stone market, continues along the coast until reaching Baiona. From here we continue skirting until we reach A Guarda, where we will ascend the Monte de Santa Tecla to contemplate the spectacular views.
Following the path of the river Miño, we will arrive at the Romanesque town of Tui, where the Cathedral and its historic quarter stand out. On the other side of the Minho, already in Portugal, is Valença do Minho, which stands out for the size of its fortress.
San Andrés de Teixido
The legend says that "To San Andrés de Teixido vai de morto que non fio de vivo" and is that here is the "Door to the beyond of the Celtic world".
In San Andrés de Teixido you can appreciate the highest cliffs of all Peninsular Europe and enjoy the spectacular views of Cedeira, Cariño and Ortigueira.
Playa de las Catedrales
Located on the coast of A Mariña lucense and very close to the border with Asturias, it is the most distant excursion that we offer from the hotel, but that we consider essential.
It is named for the impressive arches that form on the cliffs due to sea and wind erosion. To visit it is necessary that the tide is low to be able to walk on the beach. In the spring months there is summer it is necessary to book appointment to access the arenal.
